No matter who you are in Christ, your sins have been forgiven; no matter who you are in Christ, you will know him who is from the beginning; no matter who you are in Christ, you will have the strength which can face and overcome the Evil One.

2. Watch Yourself

We have come to far to turn back now. We must examine our hearts so we can walk with the Lord and maintain that which He has begun in us! John knew walking with the Lord was not easy in the midst of continual opposition, but he also knew that faith would one day end in sight.
“Watch Yourself” The salutation "to the chosen lady and to her children" most likely refers to a specific woman and her family. Be careful of the “Just Us Club!” Be careful of any ministry that is designed for “Just Us.” We must welcome the Christian stranger, not welcome weird doctrine but believers with genuine hospitality!

4. The Royal Law Of Love

All God’s activity is loving activity. If He creates, He creates in love; if He rules, He rules in love; if He judges, He judges in love! He cannot change: for God is love! If we live in love we live in God. This is the Royal Law!
