Labor Day: Work was ordained by God in the beginning and was intended to give us a level of satisfaction and purpose. This topical message looks at some prominent Bible passages on work to see how work is a blessing.

2. A Jubilant Redemption

Labor Day: The Year of Jubilee was a period of rest and restoration; a time when debts were cancelled and slaves set free. Many today wish they could have a year’s vacation with all their debts cancelled! The greatest Jubilee is in Christ!
On this Labor Day weekend, as we look at the account of the “Year of Jubilee,” we will observe a period of rest and restoration extended to the children of Israel. Labor Day: The word "sabbath" has something to do with "rest." But like the word “sabbath,” the word “rest” has become lost in American society. This message brings awareness to a forgotten and important spiritual principle.
