Though your sins be as scarlet, they will be white as snow. Your sins are as red as crimson. God can make you white as snow. God offers forgiveness in Jesus Christ. Are you listening to God?

2. A Song With A Sharp Rebuke

It has been called a Trojan horse song because it seems like it will be a love song between God and His people. Isaiah gets the attention of God’s people with this song. The people listened to and loved the song only to find they themselves are the scoundrel referred to in this song.
Songs are used for many purposes. There are love songs, worship songs even political protest songs. Isaiah who I think we could call the “singing prophet” composed an unusual song here. 3. Hope Shines Through

Out of the most desperate situations God is able to do a work of hope. The Messiah is a shoot from the stump of Jesse. From a stump God will raise up a ruler and king. Not just any king but the greatest the world will ever know, the Messiah, King Jesus.

4. Salvation: The Song Of Thanksgiving

Even while others are facing judgment the saved will praise God. The joy of salvation is wonderfully expressed in a song. Salvation causes us to rejoice and praise God. This is very appropriately expressed in song.
One way a person expresses love is through a song. If Jeremiah is the weeping prophet then Isaiah may be the singing prophet. Isaiah composed a lot of songs. 5. Comfort For The hurting

What do people want when they are hurting? They want God’s Word that gives comfort. Here in Isaiah is a chapter on comfort. This chapter is announcing the coming Christ. He is our source of comfort. We can certainly take comfort from God’s Word in Isaiah 40.

Philip used this chapter to lead the Ethiopian Eunuch to Christ in Acts Chapter 8. This passage of scripture has been called the John 3:16 of the Old Testament. It's used for evangelism because the suffering servant is obviously Jesus Christ.

Only God will satisfy those who thirst spiritually. The time to respond to God’s invitation is now. Barren lands will be transformed and the trees will clap their hands. You should seek the Lord while He may be found.

Isaiah gives us a description of the new day. For believers in Jesus the best is yet to come. Your future is bright! The new Zion is described were believers dwell with God. Are you ready for the new day?

9. A Vision Of World Peace

Isaiah has a vision of peace. This vision came from God. What Isaiah gives us here is totally different from "visualizing peace". We need to see what Isaiah saw. The vision of peace the prophet saw and foretold.
The subject of peace has universal interest. There are international conferences in process working toward world peace. Why is there such an interest in world peace?
