Jesus prayed for His murders. He prayed for the very people who were His cruelest enemies. "Father, forgive them" is for the very ones who are doing unimaginable cruel things to Him.

Jesus died on a cross between two nameless criminals. We don’t know the names of either one of these men. It is the only time we read about them in the Bible. Three men died that day on a cross. One made the wrong choice, one made the right choice, and One is your only choice.

Just as Jesus breathed His last, the Bible tells us that curtain of the Temple was torn in two. Witnesses to the Temple tell us that this curtain was as thick as your hand. So the tearing of something so thick and so large was supernatural.
