This is an introduction to the series. How we see affects our relationship with Him and the way we live. Our view of Him is affected by how see Him and how we think He sees us. We must not assume that God is just like us or reduce Him to human terms.

God's goodness is a favour. It draws us to Him. Rest and rely on His goodness.

3. The Sovereignty Of God

God has no equal, therefore we bow and worship Him. God is our Lord, therefore we surrender and submit to Him. God is in control, therefore we trust and obey.

God's wisdom is unsearchable, therefore we must trust in His wisdom. We are to be humble before an all-wise God. Ask God for wisdom.

Have faith in a just God. Justice flows from Him. Wait for the Lord. Delayed judgement is not injustice but the mercy of God. Don't take vengeance. Let go and let God do the judging.

God loves you not because of who you are but who He is. His love is uncaused and unceasing. Rest in the certainty of His love. Enjoy the blessings of His love. Give His love away.

God is faithful in His character, in His Word and to His people. God shows His faithfulness in many practical ways in our lives. He will come through for you always. We want to change to be like Him. We are to be faithful, as He is faithful.
