Peter doubted Jesus when he was asked to put his nets into the deep water. It made no sense. It shouldn’t have worked. But in spite of his doubt, Jesus rewarded Peter. Why?

Mary & Martha said that Lazarus was the one whom Jesus loved. But how could Jesus treat a friend like He did? Why would He callously stay away while this close friend died... and He could have prevented it?

Why did John focus on Mary Magdalene’s viist to the tomb in his gospel? What was there about what she saw and what she believed that made her story so important to his story?

Some people fear the end of the world. Others (even preachers) don’t believe Jesus is coming back. Why do some "Christians" think like this? And how should we feel when we think about Jesus’ 2nd coming?
