1. "God's Family....better Together"

If we trace God’s hand back to the book of Genesis and follow it through the OT we see God as the creator of two institutions. (1) The family and (2) the church. And we quickly realize that the two are very closely related.

In order to relate to our children we must first look at how God relates to us as our heavenly Father.

In this message we look at some of the ways Moms can identify with Mary, the Mother of Jesus. She no doubt experienced some of the same problems Moms today do. She would have faced ridicule, her son was hated by many and she likely lived in poverty.

So if we go to Webster, this is the definition we will see of a family... A family is a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household. But you and I know the family is much more than that.
