1. God Shut The Door
Contributed on Mar 18, 2021
Once the time was right for the flood, God gathered Noah and his family and all the animals into the ark and God shut the door to the ark.
I am going to begin a new series of messages today. I think from the picture you can figure out what the theme is going to be – doors. I began researching doors in the Bible and discovered the word door is used around 260 times. Many of those times it refers to an actual door or doorway, but in ...read more

2. Jesus Is The Door To Salvation
Contributed on Mar 18, 2021
Jesus said, “I AM the Door”! Not that I am like a door or one of many doors – it is short and clear – I AM the Door!
Please turn to John 10:1-10. There are many diamonds to mine in this passage. Come and see. I. Significance of the sheep pen 1“Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 3. The Open Door Of Opportunity

Has God opened a door of opportunity to you ? Then seize the moment! Step out in faith and experience all God has designed to bless you with.

We continue our study of doors in the Bible. We have studied: • God shutting the door of the Ark • The figurative open door of opportunity to the church of Philadelphia • Jesus symbolically being the Door to Salvation • We are to choose to enter the door to the narrow road to Heaven • Today we ...read more

5. Sin Crouching At The Door
Contributed on Mar 18, 2021
The phrase “sin crouching at the door” the KJV has “lies at the door” depicts a wild animal such as a lion, ready to pounce on you. This is the word picture about the attack of sin. This word picture is not a literal door, but portrays Cain’s heart as a door.
Cain was the first human to ever be born on earth. His parents, Adam and Eve, both had special creation births. Many parents will read this story of Cain and remember what it was like to wait for the birth of their first child. So many hopes and dreams are wrapped up in that little baby who is your ...read more

6. Open Your Heart's Door To Jesus
Contributed on Mar 18, 2021
Many people have used this verse evangelically; however, its true context is for Christians. Jesus is speaking to the Church members of Laodicea to let Him into their life for fellowship and worship and not only religious pretense.
This is my last message on the theme of doors in the Bible. Our text is Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. (I put on screen pictures of painting - artist depictions of this ...read more
