The Apostle Paul had decided that contending for the true Gospel was the hill he was willing to die on. It consumed him and it fueled his outrage at false teachers that would lead his spiritual children astray.

Paul and Peter were in different keys. Actually Peter was out of synch with the Gospel itself and Paul has to confront him to his face about his hypocrisy.

The fruit of the Spirit allows those around us to see and savor our Savior! As we allow the Holy Spirit to grow these fruit in our character, we are able to exhibit Christ-like attitudes to our family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and even those who don’t like us or agree with us.
