Why would God put His Spirit inside us a sealof our salvation? He could have used anything ot "mark" us as His. Why do it this way?

Many people have problems understanding God’s Spirit. Is He a "He"? Is He part of a "trinity"? Does He even have a purpose in my life?

I’m warned about "grieving" the Spirit of God. How would I do that, and how do I make sure I don’t do it?
