We don't always receive the answer we are looking for every time we pray. Can we continue to revere God even after He has turned us down?

Unless we learn to take full responsibility for our own actions and stop blaming others -including Satan- for our poor choices; we will never be able to come before God with a repentant heart. And that's the most essential element for our salvation.

Remember, satan was not able to tempt Jesus without the permission of the Holy Spirit. And he also could not tempt Job without God's permission.
We must be careful not to attribute to satan the abilities and honors which belong to God and Him alone.
