I had a brother once tell me: "That my wife, has become a historian."
Of course, I inquired a little further, into what appeared to be a wonderful achievement.
So I asked: “What do you mean my brother?”
He replied: “She can tell me everything I have done wrong since we've been married.” (Wait for the laughter).
He continued: “Whenever, I offend in some little something; she will rehearse everything, I have ever done wrong.”
Feeling some concern for him, I asked: “Does she ever speak, to any good you have done?”
He said: “Yes!”
After giving no explanation; and not being forthcoming, I asked: "Well, what does she say?"
Reluctantly, he replied: “She said: (pausing) ‘I can’t recall.’”
I’m so thankful that the Lord does not recount all the wrong; that I have done, since I became a Christian. He remembers also, the good I have done.
Paul wrote: “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more,” Hebrews 10:17.
