ROCK OF AGES
"Rock of Ages" is a popular Christian hymn by Reverend Augustus Montague Toplady, written in 1763 and first published in The Gospel Magazine in 1775.
Tradition says the hymn was written when Augustus Toplady was walking in the gorge of Burrington Combe in the Mendip Hills in England.

MELANIE (age 5) asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied she was so old she didn’t remember any more. Melanie said, "If you don’t remember you must look in the back of your panties. Mine say five to six."

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching his wife, who was looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked what she'd like for her birthday.
"I'd like to be six again", she replied, still looking in the mirror.
On the morning of her birthday, he arose

STILL GOING STRONG
I was speaking to a man yesterday who is 95 years old. He still has all his mental faculties and is fascinating to speak with. Many old people can be rigid in their thinking but he has an ability to be flexible, and when you speak with him, you know that He has a deep

A small boy was talking with his mother and said, "How old do I have to be to stay up late on a school night?"
His mother replied, "About eighteen."
"Oh good!" the boy said. "I'm old enough now!"
"How do you figure that? Mom said. "Last time I checked, you were only eleven."
"Well," the boy

"The fruit of the Spirit begins with love...love is the first thing, the first in that precious cluster of fruit. Someone has said that all other eight can be put in terms of love. Joy is love exulting; peace is love in repose; long-suffering is love on trial; gentleness is love in society;

TEMPTATION...means Enticement, Forbidden Fruit, Allure, Bait, Desire... and I love this story on temptation. “There is a story told about a little boy in a grocery store that I think illustrates the nature of TEMPTATION. The boy was standing near an open box of peanut butter cookies. “Now then,

THE FRUIT OF YOUR WORDS (Spanish and English)
Seremos lo que decimos ser. Las palabras tiene poder. Llevan poder. Crean imágenes. Y así Usted puede crear lo bueno y lo malo. Dios dice yo creo el fruto de tus labios. Yo creo todo lo que hables. Piense en el fruto de sus labios. Sabe muchas veces,

One of the worst cases of hatred I have ever come across is found in a will written in 1935 by a Mr. Donohoe. It says, "Unto my two daughters, Frances Marie and Denise Victoria, by reason of their unfilial attitude toward a doting father, … I leave the sum of $1.00 to each and a father's

WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE...
A young man who was also an avid golfer found himself with a few hours to spare one afternoon. He figured if he hurried and played very fast, he could get in 9 holes before he had to head home.
Just as he was about to tee off, an old gentleman shuffled onto the tee and
