Becoming All Things To All People Entails A ...
Contributed by Tony Klinedinst on Aug 29, 2002 (message contributor)
"Becoming all things to all people entails a giving of oneself which falls just short of compromising our Christian faith. We need to ask ourselves what is nessecary and what is sacrificable.
Imagine walking into the home of a Chinese family. If you step to the door and they ask you to remove your shoes, you have a choice to make:Keep your shoes on and leave the home or take them off and enter. However, if you choose to keep your shoes on, you have closed the door of any possible relationship with that family. Would you be willing to sacrifice your "right" to wear your shoes for the chance to impact one family? What others aspects of your life are "sacrificable."?
