Tithe And Offiering
Contributed by Rev. Vinod Rasaily on Oct 19, 2016 (message contributor)
"I also learned that the portions assigned to the Levites had not been given to them, and that all the Levites and musicians responsible for the service had gone back to their own fields." Nehemiah 3:10
The Pastors and Worship team of Jerusalem Church were no where to be found. The reason? They had all gone back to their own fields. Why? because the portions assigned to them had not been given to them. An appalling situation. Why wouldn’t Pastors and Musicians go to the field, after all they too have family to support. But what could they do when Christians did not bring in their tithes and offerings. Many times our Pastors and those called in the Church Ministries are not able to concentrate in the vocation, because the Church fails to Support them financially. Tithers and Non-Tithers must understand that they are the backbone for financial support for the their own Church. Like the Jewish people, Christians have neglected the house of God. Christians must act responsible.

The Hymn Of Love
Contributed by Geoffrey Foot on Mar 10, 2018
1 Corinthians 13 is a fantastic piece of NT scripture which we can all emanate in our daily lives. It is commonly called the Hymn of Love and if we turn the statements of love into questions for ourselves AND fulfil them we would be better Christians.
