When My Grandson Goes To The Bookshelf And ...

When my grandson goes to the bookshelf and touches the pile of DVD’s at my daughter’s house, he knows it is wrong. I can tell he knows by the defiant look on his face. He knows it is wrong because he has been told it is wrong. He has FULL REVELATION of this rule. If he had not been told it was wrong, then I could not enforce or demand that he comply with my standards. I could only begin to teach him my expectations. The only punishment he receives can only be administered according to the amount of revelation he has received. Of course the stack of DVD’s may fall on him. He bears the penalty of his own actions but not of my judgment until I have given him the rules. Romans 7:7 (NLT) says "... it was the law that showed me my sin. ..."
