How Can You Be So Narrow-Minded?

“How can you be so narrow-minded?”

The question jolted Steve from the newspaper he was reading in the teacher’s lounge. Jenna, the school librarian, was frowning and pointing at his coffee mug, which bore the message “One Way: Jesus”. Jenna was a follower of New Age religion. She believed there were many gods and many way to heaven.

“I can accept your way”, she said. “So why can’t you accept mine?”

Many people do not like to hear that there is only one way to get to heaven. Yet the Bible plainly teaches that Jesus is our only hope for spending eternity with God. As Christians, we are called to proclaim this truth in a loving and gracious manner.
