The Meek Person Has A Powerful Relationship With ...

THE MEEK PERSON HAS A POWERFUL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THAT RELAXES THE SPIRIT, CALMS THE SOUL, OVERCOMES FEAR, AND ENABLES GREAT THINGS TO BE ACCOMPLISHED IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
V. IN CONTRAST, THE UN-MEEK TRY TO BUILD A FORMIDABLE EXTERIOR BUT ARE CRIPPLED INSIDE WITH FEAR AND STRESS. THERE IS A LEGEND FORM INDIA ABOUT A MOUSE THAT ILLUSTRATES THIS TYPE OF PERSON. HE WAS SO TERRIFIED OF CATS THAT HE ASKED A MAGICIAN TO TRANSFORM HIM INTO A CAT. THAT RESOLVED HIS FEAR UNTIL HE MET A DOG, SO THE MAGICIAN TURNED HIM INTO A DOG. HE WAS CONTENT UNTIL HE MET A TIGER. ONCE AGAIN, THE MAGICIAN TURNED HIM INTO WHAT HE FEARED. BUT WHEN THE TIGER CAME COMPLAINING THAT HE HAD MET A HUNTER, THE MAGICIAN REFUSED TO HELP. THE MAGICIAN SAID, "I WILL MAKE YOU INTO A MOUSE AGAIN, FOR THOUGH YOU HAVE THE BODY OF A TIGER, YOU STILL HAVE THE HEART OF A MOUSE." MEN OFTEN SEEK SECURITY IN BUILDING UP AN OUTWARD SHELL -- THINGS, FAME, STATUS. YET, SOME OF THE MOST POWERFUL PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFRAID TO GO TO BED AT NIGHT. SOME OF THE MOST PROMINENT HAVE FALLEN BECAUSE THEY LIVED ARROGANTLY, WITH LITTLE REGARD FOR RESPONSIBILITY.
