Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas

The other night, one of the new born kittens at our house got lost from the other two in the litter. The mother did not seem to know that it was missing, but it cried all night under our window. We could not get to it, and we did not know where the mother was. As much as we tried through the night, we could do nothing until morning. I was afraid that this little one would die from hunger and loneliness, but it survived until morning when we were able to retrieve it from under the house. I set it down in front of the mother, who looked it over, and took it in her mouth, and put it in with the other two. This quieted the little lost kitten. Animals may not know how many young belong in the nest, but God knows every one of us!
