[084]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – FOR MEN - THE THREE Fs
There are 9 poems in this Trilogy series. This poem is part of a Trilogy - three sets of three. The first set is addressed to MEN, the second to ALL CHRISTIANS and the third is SPECIFIC. This is the third one in the first set - FOR MEN.
ALL these poems follow the same format as they address the subject. ALL poems have 5 stanzas – Introduction; 3 stanzas for the subject; and the last stanza sums up. All poems feature three words based on a letter in the Alphabet. For this poem the letter is “F”.
Men can face many major problems and this poem focuses on three of them – FAITHFULNESS, FELLOWSHIP, and FRIENDLINESS.
There is an attack on men in recent decades, not only from godless feminism, but from the WOKE culture and affirmative action. Men are being out down in an attempt to destroy their masculinity.
FAITHFULNESS and commitment are two great words of our faith. That is what God requires so naturally, they are under attack.
FELLOWSHIP with other men and with the members of the church reflects the fellowship with the Lord. It is a vital component of Christian growth.
FRIENDLINESS is a quality that those much older like me remember characterized our world once, but not so much now in this “ME generation”. As Christians, we must pursue friendliness – it is a spiritual quality.
{{Galatians 5:22-23 “but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, FAITHFULNESS, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”}}
{{1 Corinthians 1:9 “God is faithful, through whom you were called into FELLOWSHIP with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”}}
{{James 4:4 “You adulteresses, do you not know that FRIENDSHIP WITH THE WORLD is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”}}
{{3 John 1:14 “but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to you. The FRIENDS greet you. Greet the FRIENDS by name.”}}

FOR MEN - THE THREE Fs
There are three Fs the Christian man must try to cultivate.
These qualities must be pursued; with them, not hesitate,
For they develop in one’s life, the necessary means
Of balanced Christian growth and health. On these the Christian leans.
===============================================
A FAITHFULNESS of heart and deed will speak of loyalty.
“Well done, thou faithful child of Mine, who lives reality.”
In walk and life, and action too, this faithfulness must show.
Dependence on the Lord your God enables you to grow.
===============================================
How does your FELLOWSHIP progress? What is its current state?
Do you make sure you meet with those who to their Lord relate?
Essential is the gathering of kindred Christian folks,
For all support the other ones, as in a wheel - the spokes.
===============================================
How precious is such FRIENDSHIP shown, in loving Christian care.
When sorrow, hurt or heartache comes, with others do you share?
How pleasing is a friendly soul who mirrors his Great Friend!
Compassion is His quality. Like Him, our time should lend.
===============================================
And these three Fs should play a part in Christian walk each day.
Without their help at different times, we stumble in the way.
Do not neglect these special three, for they are pillars great
To keep your temple locked in place and in a happy state.

Blind skiers were featured in the 1988 winter Olympics. How did they ski being blind? They were paired with sighted skiers who would simply yell, "LEFT" or "RIGHT" when the time came to turn, and the blind skiers obeyed without question! Their obedience brought reward. When we cannot see what God ...read more
