We Can't Know The Day - But We Can Know The Season When Christ Returns.
Contributed by Dr. Larry Petton on Apr 6, 2024 (message contributor)
Jesus specifically told us that there would be signs in the sky in the sun and moon and stars (Luke 21:25), and he told us to “look up”, as our redemption draws near.
Believers need to look up when the "season" of His return arrives.
The apostle Paul had this to say about the times and seasons:
Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates, we do not need to write to you,
2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.
5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
No one knows the exact day or hour, but I can say that I have never seen a darker season than the one I am ministering in today. Even so, come Lord Jesus!
