God Can Turn Evil To Good
Contributed by Dr. Larry Petton on Aug 26, 2023 (message contributor)
Myra Wattinger was 40 years old and living in Pasadena, Texas when she experienced a traumatic event in her life. She was raped and then became pregnant. She did not feel that she could take care of a child, so she placed an ad in the Houston Post newspaper at the time she gave birth to a baby boy.
H.D. Hale, a local Houston pastor, and his wife, answered the ad and took the baby boy, and raised them in a godly home. At the ago of 14, that young man became a born again Christian at one of Hale's church services. As a teenager, that boy felt the call of God to preach the Gospel and surrendered. God’s hand was upon and he became one of the most dynamic evangelists in America, leading hundreds of crusades and revivals and leading thousands to faith in Christ. He and his wife, Betty, still have a daily tv show and ministry entitled, LIFE TODAY. His name is James Robinson.
God can take the worst situations, even rape, and turn it into something good.
