I heard a quote many years ago that I believe is from a movie I do not recommend called 8mm. (it is about human trafficking or some other awful thing). The quote is so true:

If you dance with the devil, the devil dont change. The devil changes YOU.

We can see this principle illustrated so clearly in the rampant epidemic of Meth Addiction all around us. No one takes a drug thinking Oh I think I'll become a drug addict today. No. They're thinking I want to get high and forget about _______ whatever their issue is. The devil whispers to them Just this once won't hurt.... and You're stronger than other people, it won't get YOU ....
