Martin Buber wrote of the uncanny game of hide and seek we play - in which the soul seeks to hide from itself.
Thomas Merton - our minds are deformed with a contempt for reality - as we corrupt the truth, we defile our own souls.
And in keeping with Genesis 3, Scott Peck has pointed out that evil always has to do with lying.
Institutions: The worth and integrity of an institution depends on its willingness to call things by their right names.
