An Unexpected Funeral
Contributed on Oct 19, 2020
This is a funeral for a man in his mid-fifties that passed away unexpectedly.
Michael Brown On behalf of the entire Brown family, I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for being here this afternoon. One week ago right now, none of us expected to be here today. But people have rearranged schedules, taken off work, and traveled many miles to be here for this ...read more

Sexual Immoraity In America
Contributed on Feb 4, 2020
One of the clearest indicators of rebellion against God is the blatant rejection of God's guidelines for sex. When we sin sexually, we hurt ourselves, we hurt others, and we break the heart of God.
We are ALL broken people born into a broken world. The evidence of that brokenness often shows up most obviously in the area of our sexuality. So many people—professing Christians included—are willing to give their heart to God, but it seems like they want Him to stay out of their bedroom and out ...read more

Lots of people get stopped by lots of things. I remember being stopped in my tracks one day at church – Snake. People are stopped in their tracks by all kinds of things. Very few things in life are unstoppable. The only truly unstoppable force in this world comes from God. The Spirit of God makes His Church, His people, and His purpose unstoppable.
What do you think of when you hear the word, UNSTOPPABLE? A couple of years ago, a popular business magazine came out with an article called 30 Behaviors of Unstoppable People. Is that even possible? Are there any truly unstoppable people in the world? I have known some people who thought they ...read more

Contributed on Dec 30, 2007
One Sunday a visitor showed up in a more formal, liturgical church than he was used to attending. The church was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. That made it all the more obvious when this visitor got excited about something the minister said and he shouted out “Praise the Lord!” What ...read more

In his book, The Safest Place on Earth, Dr Larry Crabb states that, “The difference between the spiritual and unspiritual community is not whether conflict exists, but is rather in our attitude toward it and our approach to handling it. When conflict is seen as an opportunity to draw more fully on ...read more
