Approved Workers
Contributed by Dr. Larry Petton on Dec 2, 2020 (message contributor)
In II Timothy 2:14-20, the Apostle Paul gives five characteristics of those in the Body of Christ who are "approved workers". When believers stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ, there will be only two types of people there: workers who are approved and workers who are not approved. Those who are "not approved" do not lose their salvation......but they lose their rewards when they stand before Christ. They will have a SAVED soul and a LOST life.
1. Approved Workers Have a Strong Awareness of God’s Presence (14).
2. Approved Workers Avoid Needless Quarrels (14).
3. Approved Workers Are Faithful Bible Students (15).
4. Approved Workers Avoid False Teaching (16-17).
5. Approved Workers Stay Clean Before the Lord (18-20).
