About Tony
  • Education: I am finishing my Bachelor’s Degree at Johnsons Bible College. Have had many training classes through my denominational group as well as Chaplain training with the Knoxville City Police Dept.
  • Experience: I have been pastoring for the past 20 years. 1987-1996 Stoney Point Baptist, 1996-1998 Marbledale Baptist, 1998-2006 Oakwood Baptist. Beginning January 2007 I will be serving as Director of Angelic Ministries Int.

  • Family: I have been married to my wife, Gwyn for 24 years. We have three children, Annie[22]and her husband Ashley, Katie [18] and T.J. [16]We also have beautiful black lab named Beau. We all have live in Knoxville for the past 20 years and have ministered as a family. My wife is an excellent Bible teacher and my children are a great praise team.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Do it with Passion. Preach as a dying man to dying men.
  • Hobbies: Play music [Guitar, Piano, Trumpet, Bass, Mandolin,] Love to build things. Built houses with Father and brohters for many years. Built my own home in 2004.Give God the Glory!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: Sat on birthday offering model church.

    This sermon came after I had resigned from my church. It was helpful for the congregation and myself to realized that God is faithful and would bless all as we went our separate ways as long as those ways were HIS!
