  • Books that have had an impact: "How to listen to God" by Dr. Charles F. Stanley had an enormous impact.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I was preaching the last night of revival at a Christian Methodist Episcopal church in Richland, Georgia. After praise and worship I got up and lifted my text for the message. As soon as I announced my subject, I noticed something flying around the church. I tried to ignore it and continue to preach. But then another one appeared and another and another. By then, people began to leave the sanctuary. In all about 12 of these flying creatures, later identified as BATS had emerged from the wal
