  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Always be true to yourself - never try to be someone you’re not. Be honest and be prepared!
  • Hobbies: Family Music - singing, writing, recording - play guitar, bass. Son plays drums Sports - the big three - football, basketball and baseball. Reading good books Spending time with the guys from my church.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: #1 -- I was feeling bad and my wife gave me 2 benadril (sp?). About half way through i began to talk slowly and eventually could not keep my thoughts together. Had to quit and go home and sleep! Everybody got a big kick out of that. #2 -- Was going along speaking very forcefully and when i was at a critical point, i swallowed my gum and got chocked. The lesson: never chew gum when i’m preaching!
  • What I want on my tombstone: Here is a guy who gave God all he had and had fun doing it.
