  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: My sermons represented here at the moment are just the bones! I’ve not had the time or the inclination to write out the full text as, in general, my semons are given particularly for a given situation. My teachings are in full and you can download them at http://members.truepath.com/timshen/teaching.html
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Series on Romans by Dr.Neal Patterson
  • One of my favorite illustrations: The Bulldog Illustration (look it up - it’s on this database)
  • Family: Rev.Tim is an Englishman married to a Chinese Singaporean, Shendy, with two beautiful kids, Melody and Gideon.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They are amazed I preach at all as they know how shy I used to be!
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Depends if I live out what I ay or not! Mostly she thinks they’re great.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Minister in grace - don’t worry about what the people think about you but what they think about God.
  • Books that have had an impact: The Bible! Grace Awakening by Charles Swindoll
  • Hobbies: Writing Worship Songs and recording them. Designing Web Pages. Cartoon Drawing. Badmington and Jogging.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: Almost fell off the stage - I was leaning off the edge waving my arms to get back my balance!
  • What I want on my tombstone: May His work through me endure and increase.

    (1) INTRODUCTION: *True worship takes place in the context of obedience to God (Genesis 12:1-5) - not merely a feeling or a form. For Abraham it was in the process of obeying God’s prompting to go to the land of Canaan. We cannot truly worship God unless we are in the place of ...read more

This does not mean a niggling irritation or annoyance that we exaggerate to become burdensome (like arthiritis in one finger) but it does mean ’to be overtaken in a trespass’ and is an oldfashioned word meaning ’to misstep , trip ...read more
