About Ron
  • Education: I graduated from Nazarene Bible College in 1979 with an Associate Degree in Religion and from Mid-America Nazarene University in 1985 with a Bachelors Degree in Religion.
  • Experience: I have been in the ministry now for 24 years in 6 different churches. Our first assignment was a Church Plant in Forest grove, Oregon.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Series of messages on Romans.
  • Family: My wife and I are enjoying the empty nest but we do miss our kids and grand kids often. We have three children who are all married with families and living in other states. We now have 9 grandchildren who are a blessing.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Most of the time she thinks they are great. She gets a little nervious if it comes across as strong or I get alittle loud in delivery.
  • Books that have had an impact: Holy Bible, Complete Works of E.M. Bounds on Prayer, Francis Shaffer’s works, Wesley’s Notes and Sermons, Advanced Strategic Planning.
  • Hobbies: Golf, fishing and study / reading.
  • What I want on my tombstone: That I lived courageously for the Lord out of a heart of love.
