• Experience: Been a pastor officially since 1997. Was ordained as a deacon in 1994. Was a Youth Pastor in 1993 and served in that capacity until I retired and moved back to alabama. Was licensed to preach in 1996. Became a youth director in 1996 and the Lord led me to venture into the ministry field as a pastor. Am at my second church and have been here for a little over 2 years.
• Family: Married for 32 years. Have 5 children and at present 3 grandsons, with another due in December. My oldes will be 30 years old and my youngest will soon be 9 years old. 3 girls and 2 boys
• What my parents think of my sermons: My mom says they are ok, my dad says they are good.
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She does not get to listen to often due to the fact she works the nursery or childrens area.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Do not water it down, preach it straight and always tell it like it is!
• Books that have had an impact: Left behind series, What would Jesus Do.
• Hobbies: Grandkids, outdoor work, guitar and preaching
• What I want on my tombstone: He tried his best!
