  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I have always been a manuscript preacher, so on one occasion which just so happened to be one of the windiest days in Charlotte, NC - I was preaching outside. About 10 minutes into the message all the pages blew off the podium and there I was.My friend who just so happens to be an "outline guy" was cracking up because he knew I was out of my element. After the guys on the front row attempt to assemble all the sheets back together..I kinda ended with a plea for everyone just to pray!
  • What I want on my tombstone: Here lies the bones of one BAD TEXAN!
