  • Education: Coleg Harlech 1949 University of Wales Swansea 1950- 1953 Social Science Diploma. Bangor Theological Seminary Maine USA 1957-1960 - Bachelor of divinity and Master of divinity degrees.
  • Experience: Coal miner at age 14-21. Student pastor at Sherman Mills in Maine USA 1958 - 1960. Pastor at Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Utica New York State 1960 - 1971. Minister at Castle Green Congregational Church Bristol UK 1971 - 1985. Retired Minister conducting services for several Churches in Bristol for 20 years. 1961 - Delegate in Philadelphia when four former denominations came together to form the United Church for Christ. 1972 - Delegate in London for the merging of the Presbyterian Church with the Congregational Church in England and Wales, thus forming the United Reformed Church. Minister on radio Bristol’s “Sunday Starts” programme. The free Church chaplain at Glenside psychiatric Hospital for ten years. President of the Ecumenical Committee in Bristol. Lead for a group of Catholic and Protestant Christians on a pilgrimage to the Holy land. Author of the book From Coalpit to Pulpit By Rev Kenneth Ernest Roach- Available on Amazon.
