• Education: Did my undergraduate work at Pacific Christian College, then The Master's collete. Did a Master's (plus Pastoral Certification) at Concordia University Irvine. Presently in a master's certificate program at Avila Institute.
• Experience: I've been a pastor since 1998, and have also served as a hospice and jail chaplain.
• One of my favorite illustrations: God changes us from broken crushed coke cans into chalices
• Family: My wife has been married to me since 1989, sacrificing much for the ministry. My son was born in 2007 and is a very brilliant kid. (taking after his mom!)
• Best advice given to me about preaching: "The chief purpose of all worship is to give people what they need to know about Jesus Christ"
• Books that have had an impact: Augsburg Confession, Proper Distinction of Law and Gospel, Between Two Worlds, Just about anything from Will Willimon or Pope Benedict XVI
• Hobbies: Music, computers
