About Quinton
  • Education: Barber-Scotia College BA Theology/Philosophy
  • Experience: Five years in the ministry
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: We hope that through this message you will be empowered to go and conquer the city you live, the house you live in, the place where you work, and tell somebody about the power and goodness of God.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: The Fire Wont Go Out!
  • One of my favorite illustrations: There was an old deacon that always thought Pastor was never talking about him in his sermons. One week the pastor was in revival and every night the deacon came to him and said Pasor you sure told them tonight. The Pastor was tired of this Holy roller and wondered how he could get him to see that he had sin too. The last night of the revival it rained real bad and no one came to the revival except brother you told ’em Pastor. The pastor said this is good time to preach to just this one self righteous brother. So the Pastor preached about sin and at the end of the service the man came to the pastor and said Pastor you sure did preach and if they were here you would have told ’em again.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They enjoy the gift that the Lord has given me!
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Let the Lord use you
  • Books that have had an impact: The Purpose Driven Church
  • Hobbies: Basketball, and just recently taken a interest in Golf
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: We must move from Situation to Revelation!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: Nothing yet!
  • What I want on my tombstone: To God Be The Glory!
