• Education: Pace High School Class of 1980. Served 4 yea in the United States Air Force. I am prayerfully and hopefully about to continue my studies at what is now Global University in Springfield Missouri. It is my desire to get my degree in Bible Theology.
• Experience: I spent over 5 years at Pace Assembly of God in Pace Florida working with Pastor Glyn Lowery. I spent 2007 and most of 2008 as Pastor of Whitefield Assembly of God in Ripley Tennessee. In 2008 I began the Pastorate here at Brentwood Assembly.
• Comment to those looking at my sermons: I hope and pray that these sermons will enrich and bless your life and ministry as you work for the Lord. May His word go forth from your life and may God give you a harvest of souls won to the Kingdom of God.
• Sermon or series that made a difference: Over the past few weeks the Lord has given me some great times of prayer and from that He has taken me further in His Word than I have ever been before. The sermon "Limiting God" is one of the greatest messages I believe God has ever given me. This sermon showed me that God is not unlimited and that the church many times is the very one that limits Him in more ways than one. The sermon "When God Repositions You" was to me even greater in that when I was preparing the message God was showing me that the trials and the battles we face are many times God’s way of repositioning our lives.
• One of my favorite illustrations: Putting a figure of Jesus in a square box so that everyone could see Him was one of my favorite illustrations of all time.
• Family: My wife of almost 20 years Bunny and our Son Jonathan who is 6 years old. We adopted our Son in 2003 and God has truly blessed my life with a wonderful family.
• What my parents think of my sermons: My Dad went home to be with the Lord in 2008. My Mom will have to tell you what she thinks of her son’s preaching. What do you think she will say?
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She tells me that they’re good and she can also sense when it’s tough trying to get the message to the people.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: I really can’t say that anyone ever gave me advice about Preaching. When I preach I preach my heart and that is the place where the message that God gives to me originates.
• Books that have had an impact: The book by Jentezen Franklin "Believe That You Can" is to me one of the greatest books that I have ever read. I also read his book on "Fasting" and to me this is one of the best books on Fasting that I have ever read. I also LOVE anything the Blackaby’s write. I use their last name respectively because I believe this whol family writes. I would recommed any and all of their books to anybody. I also have the Blackaby Study Bible as well.
• Hobbies: I love to go to Bookstores. I enjoy the Andy Griffith Show and have all of the seasons when Barney was the Deputy. I enjoy spending time with my family and most of all I thank God for this incredible journey He has given me to be able to walk with Him everyday of my life.
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: LIFT UP JESUS CHRIST...
• Something funny that happened while preaching: When the sound goes out while preaching it can be interesting.
• What I want on my tombstone: Servant of the Lord Jesus Christ
