About Michael
  • Education: I spent four and a half years at Appalachian Bible College in the Bible program. I have a Bachelors in Bible with a Pastoral English minor.
  • Family: I am married with two children. One child from this marriage and a daughter from my wife’s first marriage. Amber is 13 she is my daughter from this marriage and Jennifer is 24. She is my daughter from my wife’s first marriage.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I was preaching at a small country church in Virginia. I was new there and didn’t know anybody by name. I preached the message, gave an invitation, we sang the closing hymn, and at this point I was going to ask an elderly gentleman to pray who was very hard of hearing. The problem was I didn’t know his name so I was going to point to him and indicate that I wanted him to pray. About the time I pointed to him he looked down and didn’t see me point but his wife did. She leaned over in his hear and in a loud voice said; "He wants you to pray." WHich he did and he did a very good job but I was about to lose it.
  • What I want on my tombstone: He walked with God
