About Michael
  • Education: Arkansas State University Memphis Theological Seminary
  • Experience: I start pastoring churches in 2007. I have had the privilege of serving a dual denominational church, a small country church, a large city church and each have had their own learning experiences!
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I milk a lot of cows but churn my own butter. There is no original thought. If it inspires you; it will inspire others. If you use something I've printed, don't give me credit; give God credit!
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: The 15 talks in a three day experience called "Walk to Emmaus"
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Tony Campolo's story of Agnes' birthday party.
  • Family: I Am married with 1 child. I love my family and they play a major part with me in following Christ's ministry.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Their okay.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She says she likes my preaching better than others.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: It's not about the people. Worship is about GOD!!!
  • Books that have had an impact: Heaven is for real The Shack Invisible War How to be Pentecostal without speaking in Tongues
  • Hobbies: Riding Motorcycles
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Repent for the Kingdom Of God is at hand. This was John the Baptist's message and it was Jesus' message! Live today like this is the Day He returns!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: During a baptismal service, I was giving a sermon at the Baptist church, in front of my church members and theirs, when my cell phone went off to a specific ring tone set for my mother.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Forgiven. I'll be waiting by the gate to meet you there.
