About Melony
  • Education: .I have graduated from a 3.8 average and plan to become a youth paster and represent god to teens in many ways .Yes i am a kid but god can use anyone if you look at david and goliath it seemed impossible but i like god go for the impossible because it seems unreasonable and challenging for a 19yr old like me to speak out for god to many others who i don’t know but like i said god can make the impossible possible otherwise what the point of believeing with out seeing like in The 1st Santa Claus movie seeing isn’t believing or like Mandy moore in A walk to remember god is like the wind you can’t see it but you feel it.
  • Experience: I have expereinced what seems the impossible i came from a family of 4 to just me god and my mother because of my family’s disagreement with my beliefs including some friends. But god has given me ten times better by having me find my self and what he sees in me not what i see from the outside appearence. Because if you think about it not many look good on the outside but the inside is what only you and god see if you allow him to unveil your past and set your future.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I wabt you to get the meaning to get what god is saying to you and saying to others. This is not about how well i spell because i am not the greatest and this is not about me speaking its about god and what he can do in the disney park the night if i or some one else preaches my sermon/
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Sermons that made a difference were basically alot i can’t name them all but every sermon I have heard has always spoken to me in some way whether i tell some one what god has said to tellthem or i getspoken to about chages i need to make in my life Like tonight Paster Beck was taking about the God Zone and how we have lost contact not all of us but some and he wants to reconnect with us.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: One of my favorite illustrations is the 4 season everone has there season depending on how long they want to get through it you got winter where you are madder than a hornet and you got fall where you are crying some much you will make a river and you got spring where things are to bad but could be better to your satisfaction and you got summer where you can be at but its short some time because we take advantage of it which in a way seem like yeah i want to be happy allthe time but in a other way of thinking it would be to easy in my point of view i want something challenging and god gives it to me.
  • Family: My family is not exactly in agreement with my faith but like the world its not easy if you are trying to change it by yourself thats where god comes in you have to change yourself in order to live with the world and not get caught up into the worldly life of a sinner even through we are that doesn’t mean god can’t change things in our life today. No i am not saying we are perfect because lets face it unless your god good luck with changing the world.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My monm thinks i could be the next joyce but in a youth form she is a role modle of mine but god is the miracle worker for my sermons with out him i could do it. Before i would go up in front of poeple and couldn’t put 2 words together without struggle because of my lisp problem its a speech impairement.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: I am not married just yet at one time it seem like it but its all in god’s timing no matter how much i want a family which everyone thinks i am nut because i want one so bad.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: No matter what don’t preach and not live buy it because everyone in there daddy is going to be on you like white on rice if you make a mistake. So live by it or what’s the use of waisting your breathe becausing preaching is a gift and we are in charge of the souls we preach to and it is not neccessary to not live by what we speak it doesn’t make any sense.
  • Books that have had an impact: "The child called it" it inspired me it was written by Dave pelzer and it was awesome and the saddest beside theother horrorstories i have heard which in a sense makes my testimony a walk in the park compared to theres but god can still use me for other things.
  • Hobbies: I like to talk and minstrer to young teen girls as well as boys because i have expereince foster care, abuse, rape and the works from family to family friends all my life. It sucked but god changed it around so that i can use my mess from the past as a message to the future poeple that need him the most. I love horses and movies. I am also like every other girl and i like to shop I really don’t love anything except God which he isn’t a thing but you hopefully know what i mean. I also like chocolate.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: In a matter of speaking put up or shut up your option not mine everyone has a mouth but how well do they use it?
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I never actually preached but in my first speech class when i decided this could be something I started preaching the timer went off and the person was supposed to raise his hand and he did but i thought he was asking a question and it was pretty funny considering i was so nerves i though i was going faint.
  • What I want on my tombstone: 2Cor. 4:16
