About mark
  • Education: Pastor Mark has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Finance from Long Island University, CW Post center, Greenlawn New York. His ministerial credentials began with the COG Ministerial Internship Program, where he later recieved his original ordination.
  • Experience: Pastor Mark & Lora individually, have over 25 years of ministry experience. Ministering to all ages, in and outside of their church members.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: It was with much prayer and petition, that these sermons will elevate your life! I encourage you to open up your bibles while you read these sermons. Application to what you see and read will make all the difference in your life! I truly believe that if you will 'Respond' to what is within them, that you will most certainly grow in Christ.
  • One of my favorite illustrations: I have had many inspired moments. I like to be visual, and will sometimes use many object lessons to enhance the message the LORD gave to me. When preaching a lesson on Getting & Staying in the Zone, i constructed a football goal post, and word an umpires uniform. Scripture text was Psalm 15 - Abiding in Gods holy tabernacle; how o walk uprightly...getting and staying in the zone.
  • Family: Pastor Mark and Lora have 3 children, all who are Spirit filled and actively involved in ministry. They are all gifted musicians and represent the core of Heart of Worship's worship team, and their youth band called 'Crossing Jordan.' Crossing Jordan has been very actively pursued by many churchs and youth groups for special events in the New York metropolitan areas! Their lasted CD, 'God Of Love' has just been released. You can also find their latest 'God of Love' music video on youtube.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: love them.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: really enjoys and sometimes participates in them. My wife is my life partner in all things. We fight the good fight of faith together. We 'fight hard' for our family!
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach Jesus...be yourself...make it personal... love the flock...
  • Books that have had an impact: Joyce meyer Battlefield of the mind Tony Evans Kingdom Man Max Lucado Facing your Giants Neil Anderson Victory over Darkness
  • Hobbies: Sports, Walking, Biking,
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Joshua 1:8,9 Only be strong and courageous. "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth...meditate on it day and night being careful to observe all that is within it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid...for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
