• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She loves them. She tries to convince me that they are the best preaching she’s ever sat under (bias?).
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Keep it simple - JUST ONE POINT!
• Books that have had an impact: Andy Stanley’s Communicating for a Change. Greg’s Stier’s material on a simple way to share the GOSPEL narrative through the Bible.
• Hobbies: Fishing, biking, playing with daughter.
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: the Gospel.
• Something funny that happened while preaching: After getting my reviews back from a sermon I preached in an undergrad preaching class my professor wrote "check your fly." Apparently I did the entire sermon with my fly open and nobody bothered to let me know.
• What I want on my tombstone: He lived until he died.
