The Servant of Yahweh is poured out, numbered with criminals, bearing the sin of many. But he interposes, makes intercession for the transgressors and so has Successefully Achieved the plan of the Father for his people.

We have life because the grave could not contain it’s prey. Paul told us that Christ conquered even the last enemy - death.

The Substitutionary Atonement

In the day of Christ’s dying, there was the dam of God’s patience, and the flood of God’s wrath; the day that Christ was placed upon the cross, God said that Christ was guilty of all of the law, having become of a curse through his crucifixion.
