About Joshua
  • Education: Although I went to college for five years I have no degree simply because I couldn’t find where God was leading me until I realized I was called into the ministry at which time I was hired as a Youth Pastor and stopped attending college to put my full effort into the youth group.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: My speaking skills are far stronger and more developed then my writing skills so please understand that from my mouth things sound better then from my finger tips.
  • Family: I’m married with no kids. Well actually if you count my youth group I’ve got about thirty kids that take up alot of my time.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: There proud of me and are always positive. But all parents are so I smile and tell them thank you.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She has actually been positive towards my sermons. A few comments of needed work but usually positive.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: To simply follow where God leads.
  • Books that have had an impact: Many of the books written by Max Lacado have inspired and helped me in my walk with God.
  • Hobbies: Sports are my biggest out of church hobbie, but I also collect star wars toys.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: My youth group always threatens to do things while I’m preaching and once in a while I’ll catch them making faces at me and a couple of times I’ve had to take a deep breath before laughing on stage. The biggest threat they have made though is to make a "GO JOSH" sign and hold it up but I’ve been able to hold them off so far on that one.
  • What I want on my tombstone: He served God first
