• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Likes for me to preach directly from the Bible (expository) rather than illustrative sermons.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Relax and be yourself.
• Hobbies: Upholstery, fishing, writing and various other activities.
• Something funny that happened while preaching: It didn’t happen to me, but a friend of mine was preaching about Balaam’s donkey and as he excitedly hastened to make a point he said... "If God can speak through the ass of a donkey, I know he can speak through me." Fortunately, everyone in the congregation knew how he struggled with speach and after a short chuckle disruption, he went on to preach a great message....I would have probably stopped at that point.
