M3 – Mature Disciples 2 Matthew 28:19-20
Contributed on Apr 11, 2019
To MAKE a disciple begins w/ connecting someone to Christ through salvation and then connecting them to His church for ministry care and concern.
Over the last few weeks I’ve been sharing w/ you my heart as it pertains to God’s call on our lives to make disciples of all nations. And if you remember, a disciple is more than a convert, but a person who’s been saved and is now in the process of becoming just like Jesus. In Matthew 28:19-20 – ...read more

M3 – Make Disciples 1 Matthew 28:19-20
Contributed on Apr 11, 2019
The church exists and why God doesn’t beam us up upon salvation but leaves us here on earth.
Read Matthew 28:19-20 – Do you know what this is? This is one of the final statements Jesus made to His followers before His ascension back to the Father. We call this statement the Great Commission? But really what it is our calling card – our purpose statement – our elevator pitch! Last week – ...read more

Identity 2 – The False Identity Philippians 3:1-14
Contributed on Apr 11, 2019
The most critical teaching in the Christian faith – accepting and living in who we truly are in Christ. We call this our identity in Christ.
Last Sunday we began a series of lessons on what’s arguably the most critical teaching in the Christian faith – accepting and living in who we truly are in Christ. We call this our identity in Christ – and as I shared last Sunday – as believers in Christ – our identity is not determined by who we ...read more

Contributed on Apr 11, 2019
Who we are isn’t defined by our vocation or our successes, fears, or failures – our identity is so much more than these things. As Christ-followers, who we are, is determined by our spiritual birth.
If I were to ask – Who’s Billy Graham? Most would say – BG was a great evangelist. And that’d be correct. But would it answer my question? No. B/c being an evangelist isn’t who BG is – it is what he used to do. If the totality of BG’s identity is found in being an evangelist, then who is he now ...read more

He is the potter; we are the clay. He is the shepherd; we are the sheep. He is the Master; we are the servant.
