• Comment to those looking at my sermons: I know that everyone has a different style and approach to Hermanutical and Homiletical presentation, But don’t think of Outlines as a puzzle but a picture that can be interpreted in various ways but still holding to a main thrust or central meaning.

• One of my favorite illustrations: The son who was left deep in the forest by his father who had gone back home to retrieve something forgotten with only one word of instruction; and that was to hold up a lantern until he returned inspite of darkness, the elements, critisism, and slander. Keep holding up the light until I return.
• Family: Devoted Husband of 3 years to one Lovely wife, Rotasha Wade One Handsome son, Adonis Zion (2yrs.old) and one child now aboard the "Maternity Express" stay tuned.....
• What my parents think of my sermons: My mom is very analytical and so she always says something like, "To thine own self be true" or never be satisfied with your best. My dad has always been the roughest on me considering that he is a preacher himself. He always scolded me as a younger more novice preacher.... son, that sermon is a little to "pro" for you right now. Yet he has always commended me on my comprehensive content.
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She refers to me as being radical at times partly because of my literary style. Her usual response is, When are you coming to bed?
• Best advice given to me about preaching: My grandfather always said never let it be said of your preaching that; "They were glad when you stood up and glad WHEN YOU SAT DOWN!"
• Books that have had an impact: The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis Spiritual Warfare by E.M. Bounds All books by Max Lucado and John Maxwell
• Hobbies: Reading, Researching, Web surfing & Writing
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Im closing for real this time.
• Something funny that happened while preaching: I was in the middle of a climatic part of my sermon and the louder I yelled the louder my son yelled.... hey daaaadyyy!
• What I want on my tombstone: Here lies..... no wait..... there goes Joel Wade up, up and away!
