About Joe
  • Education: My wife and I both graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center, in Tulsa, OK
  • Experience: Two years as youth minister. 10 years as senior pastor.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I pray that they be a blessing to you, and that God, by the Holy Spirit, would tailor them to your unique personality to empower each listener!
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Sermon on "Righteousness"
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Using the illustration of David’s covenant with Jonathan, to show Mephibosheth’s righteousness with the King, based upon his father’s covenant relationship with David.
  • Family: My wife, Julie Son, Joe Daughter, Jeannette
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: My wife is my best cheer leader! She genuinely enjoys my teaching/preaching.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach with passion, preach out of overflow.
  • Books that have had an impact: Christ the Healer, F.F. Bosworth The Authority of the believer, Kenneth E. Hagin Ever Increasing Faith, Smith Wigglesworth
  • Hobbies: Fishing with my son. Spending every available second with my wife.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: God loves everyone so very very much. He is not made at us anymore! God loves us as much as He does Jesus!
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I have an acrylic podium, and my zipper was down, my wife held up a note for me to read which read, "Check your zipper"
  • What I want on my tombstone: To be continued...
