How does Jesus respond when someone really seeks Him? He follows through--He makes sure the seeker finds Him!

Over nearly 40 years as a pastor, one of the things I've learned is that when you sign up to be a pastor, you also sign up to be a point man in some very challenging situations. One of the challenging situations I've often been asked to take over has been when a beloved or in some cases, ...read more

  • The Jesus Of The Word Of God

I suppose it was probably 15 or 20 years ago when I got a call from a young lady in our church who was working as a phlebotomist at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno. She had established a friendship with a couple who were in a crisis because he was facing a surgery for a blocked carotid artery. ...read more

There's only one true Jesus, but there are many false concepts of Jesus whom people follow. Do you follow a religious Jesus who requires rituals and works for salvation. Then, think again.

As we mentioned in our bulletin this morning, we begin a new series of messages today entitled "Meet the Real Jesus?' And I'm going to begin this morning by asking each of you here, "Which Jesus do you follow?" Now, yes, I'm anticipating some questions or comments which ...read more

Zaccheus demonstrated the humble heart of a child in seeking Jesus. Jesus responded by pursuing Zaccheus and seeing him come to repentant and saving faith.
