• Comment to those looking at my sermons: I will not spend my time preaching from others sermons and I will not preach from ones that I previously used (Except when the occassion demands such. My intention is to read, and meditate on God's word seeking to bring a message for the people I am serving each week.

• One of my favorite illustrations: The christian life like a football game. A foul is committed, the game stops, the penalty is assed and the game continues on. Guilt is like the referee blowing the whistle.
• Family: Married, two children and two Grandchildren
• What my parents think of my sermons: Not much- They are dead and I preached both of their funerals
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Learns new truth
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Prepare through meditating on scripture, get blessed yourself through preparation and overflow in the pulpit.
• Books that have had an impact: Calvins institutes, Lloyd Jones on preachers and preaching. Mostly all of Charles Colsens writings
• Hobbies: Writing especially for children.
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: How to grow a Helthy church from the clear teaching of the scripture.
• Something funny that happened while preaching: While I was preaching, My young son decided with his friends to flash a mirror in my eyes. As the congregation wondered what I would do, I just kep speaking, walked down from the pulpit and took the mirror awy, and resumed preaching.
